Taylor made for flat roofs and the protection of your property

Sarnafil is the only single ply flat roofing System available, where the materials are specifically designed for roofing purposes. Sarnafil have designed and supply every component of their systems enabling Sarnafil to uniquely guarantee all the components that make up these systems. (10year, 15 year, 20 year, guarantees are available depending on what products are installed.

Sarnafil Flat roofing systems can be used to replicate seamed metal roofs or lead roofs by welding replica decals or replica lead baton rolls. See our gallery for examples.

Unlike many other flat roof system suppliers. Sarnafil have a technical department and field technicians to help installers with technical advice and site visits when required. For larger projects Sarnafil will provide written specifications. This underlines Sarnafil commitment to ensuring that both installers and customers receive the best support and information available.

Sarnafil manufactures a range of single ply membrane roofing systems

Each of the Sarnafil membranes that we use are designed to fulfill specific flat roof applications so whether your project is new build or refurbishment we will provide a tailor-made solution.

The metal Sarnafil coated perimeter edging trims are common to both systems, they will give your flat roof installation a neat crisp perimeter finish that will not deteriorate as is the case with other felt flat roofs or bitumen flat roofing products. Joints and laps are welded with a hot air gun using temperatures of up to 500 degrees; this elevates the need for naked flames or hot bitumen tubs that are common to other flat roofing products.

The Sarnafil flat roofing materials must be installed onto a sound base, either 18mm OSB sterling board or ply (cold deck) or indeed if the specification requires a warm deck construction then a tissue or foil faced polyurethane insulation board can be used.

Sarnafil maintenance-free technology you can trust

Whatever your flat roofing requirement you can be confident that a Sarnafil roof installed by Roof Technology will provide you with a solution that not only looks good but provides reliable, maintenance-free service that's independently certified to have a life expectancy in excess of 40 years.

Mechanically fastened systems uses S327-EL

Sarnafil S membranes are manufactured using a state of the art coating process that eliminates shrinkage and plastic memory.

This produces a dynamically stable membrane that can accommodate the tensile stresses imposed by mechanically fastened applications. In the coating process, a polyester scrim carrier is coated on both sides with liquid Plastisol, prior to the application of a lacquer coating on the upper surface and embossing of the surface every square metre with the Sarnafil logo. The unique lacquer coating eliminates the need for biocides, provides the membrane with an easy to clean surface and prolongs the life of the membrane by reducing plasticiser loss. This process also enables between 2% and 5% recyclate to be used in the production of new membranes.

Available in a range of colours Sarnafil S ensures that roof structures are robust enough to withstand the natural forces of weather whilst delivering high aesthetic value.

Adhered systems use G410-EL, or G410-ELF membranes

Sarnafil G membranes are manufactured using a state of the art coating process that eliminates shrinkage and plastic memory.

This produces a dynamically stable membrane that can accommodate the stresses of adhered and loose laid and ballasted applications. In the coating process, a glass fibre carrier is coated on both sides with liquid Plastisol, prior to the application of a lacquer coating on the upper surface and embossing of the surface every square metre with the Sarnafil logo. The unique lacquer coating eliminates the need for biocides, provides the membrane with an easy to clean surface and prolongs the life of the membrane by reducing plasticiser loss. This process enables between 2% and 5% recyclate to be used in the production of new membranes.

Available in a range of standard, special and custom colours, Sarnafil G membranes provide the ability to reproduce the appearance of traditional metal roofing systems such as Lead, Copper, or Aluminium at a fraction of the cost, by incorporating Decor or Batten Profile.

Installation on site is carried out by our own Sarnafil trained employees, using the appropriate Sarnafil products including hot air welding equipment to weld all overlapping joints on site, forming a seam stronger than the membrane itself.
