Sun Pipes
Bringing Natural Light into the home
TSun Pipe natural daylight systems direct sunlight into a room from roof level. The Sun Pipe collects daylight using a patented UV stabilised polycarbonate dome, then uses a mirror-finished aluminium tube to transfer the light, with an opaque or plain opal ceiling diffuser evenly distributing the light around the room. The Sun Pipe system is effective even in overcast conditions or when raining.
Sun Pipes come in three sizes:
230mm Dia (9”) great for shower rooms toilets& bathrooms up to 7.5m2.
300mm Dia (12”) ideal for stairs landings, kitchens living rooms up to 14m2.
450mm (18”) for areas up to 22m2.
Sun Pipes remove the need for structural work to your flat roof, with the pipes’ reflective tube installed between the rafters. The top dome is self-cleaning due to its shape, and the high purity 98% silver coated aluminium tube surface is coated with PVD, a UV inhibitor to provide durability with no decrease in its reflective properties. A brushed nylon gasket at the top of the tube allows the system to ‘breathe’, preventing condensation from forming.
These products come with a 10 year guarantee against faulty manufacture, and provide a natural light option at an economical price.
