Q. Who says the life expectancy is in excess of 40 years?
A. This is certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA).
Q. Do you fit your products over the existing roof cover?
A. It is possible to overlay existing roofs but please view our Pullout & Core Test page.
Q. Water tends to sit on my roof will your roofing products change this?
A. Ponding occurs for a number of reasons and will not be solved by changing the roof cover only. Water ponding does not affect the performance of our products.
Q. Will the roof deck need to be replaced?
A. Once the roof cover is removed the existing deck will assessed. If it is found to be waterlogged or not structurally sound then it will need to be replaced. This may alleviate ponding problems.
Q. What is a warm roof deck?
A. A warm roof deck is constructed by fixing the insulation layer onto the structural timber deck this elevates the problem of condensation occurring in the roof void.
Q. Can my window cleaner walk on the roof?
A. Yes our roofing systems will take light foot traffic although if ladders are to be used it is recommended that the area is boarded out.
Q. My flat roof has several pipes and a skylight in it. Is this a problem?
A. No. There are various established methods to create watertight solutions around these areas.
