Sika Plan Flat Roofing Products

Sika Plan (formerly called Trocal) membranes are the only single ply flat roofing system available where all the materials are specifically designed for roofing purposes. Many other products, such as GRP and EPDM flat roofing systems have been adapted for flat roofing applications from other uses.

Sika design and supply every component of their systems, enabling Sika Plan to uniquely guarantee all the components that make up these systems. (Guarantees of 15 or 20 years are available, depending on which products are installed.)

Each of the Sika membranes that we use are designed to fulfil the requirements of a specific flat roof application, whether your project is new build or smaller flat roof refurbishment.

Sika Plan Membrane System

The metal Sika coated perimeter edging trims are common to both systems & will give your flat roof installation a neat crisp perimeter finish that will not deteriorate as is the case with other felt flat roofs or bitumen flat roofing products.

Joints & laps are welded with a hot air gun using temperatures of up to 500 degrees; this elevates the need for naked flames or hot bitumen tubs that are common to other flat roofing products.

The Sika flat roofing materials must be installed onto a sound base, either 18mm OSB sterling board or ply (cold deck) or indeed if the specification requires a warm deck construction, then a tissue or foil faced polyurethane insulation board can be used.

Sika Plan SGK-1.5 (1.5mm Thick)

Sika plan SGK is a multi-layer Synthetic roof waterproofing membrane, manufactured from Premium quality PVC with inlay of glass non-woven polyester Fleece backing

Uses

• Waterproofing Membrane for exposed flat roofs.
• Adhered to substrate.

Sika Plan SGmA-15  (1.5mm Thick)

Sika plan SGmA is a multi-layer Synthetic roof waterproofing membrane, manufactured from Premium quality PVC with inlay of glass non-woven polyester 

Uses

• Waterproofing Membrane for Balconies & Green roofs.
• Ballasted to substrate.

Installation on site is carried out by our own Sika trained employees, using the appropriate Sika products including hot air welding equipment, to weld all overlapping, forming a seam stronger than the membrane itself. One of two attachments systems can be used. Our Sarnafil installers work across the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire regions.
